Bradley safety showers
Technical details Bradley safety showers
Standards
Bradley safety showers are produced according to the American standard ANSI Z 358.1-1990. All European models also meet the requirements of DIN standard 12899. This German standard can be considered as representative for the European market, and guarantees a product that meets the strict requirements of quality, operation and capacity.
Coating
All hot dipped galvanised piping on Bradley safety showers is additionally protected with a tough, highly visible finish coat called Bradtect Safety Yellow.
This coating is a catalysed polyurethane coating that makes Bradley safety showers easy to maintain, corrosion resistant and, more importantly, easy to see in case of emergency.
Used as a protective shield on the under-bodies of aircraft, the catalysed polyurethane coating is an incredibly hard yet highly flexible finish that will not chip as readily as enamel, and it resists marring, abrasion and adhesion.
Chemical resistance
A safety shower has to meet the requirements of chemical resistance for the use in laboratories. Under stringent testing, the catalysed polyurethane coating withstood 500 hours of constant salt spray, 100 hours of water immersion and 1000 hours of 100% relative humidity. It also provided excellent resistance against staining, dulling and damage by thinner, acetone, MEK, gasoline, xylene, hydraulic fluids, lubrication oils and cutting oils.
Frost proof safety showers
The frost proof valve has to be connected to the water supply below the frost line. Draining of the pipes will be done automatically after using the safety shower. For an optimal drainage, you can bury crashed stones round and below drain down waste outlet.
Please specify depth of bury for the frost proof valve by ordering the safety shower. Standard depth is 914 mm, also available are 457 mm, 1219 mm, 1524 mm and 1829 mm. Please note: these non-standard sizes can NOT be rejected.
The frost proof drench shower and eye washer have to be mounted on an outside-wall. The valve is installed at the other side of the wall, in a warmed area. For this system you have to indicate the thickness of the wall by ordering the mentioned safety showers (model 20-E19-120HFP and 20-E19-220HFP).
Warranty Bradley
The warranty-period on demonstrable production errors is one year, starting at the date of delivery. Installation failures are not included.
