SystemCeram | KeraLab Laborkeramik
Quality
Chemical Resistance
The dense Siershahner blue clay is fired in industrial ovens at a temperature of over 1200°C, which results in stoneware of exceptional density and load-bearing capacity.
The products comply with all requirements of DIN 28062 (table of materials 1.1.4).
SystemCeram stoneware is resistant to all acids, with the exception of hydrofluoric acid and fuming sulphuric acid (Oleum).
Mechanical Resistance
Cutting, scratching, bumping… the special quality of the basic material in combination with the particular characteristics of the glazing allow it to withstand all these kind of mechanical attacks.
Thermal (shock) resistance
The worktops are highly resistant to thermal exposure. This is demonstrated, for example, by using a bunsen burner on the worksurface. This thermal attack will not affect the worktop.
Design
The design of KeraLab worktops and sinks is focussed on functionality and durability.
On top of that, SystemCeram distinguishes themselves from other suppliers in the almost unlimited flexibility in production and design. The CAD-controlled milling technology enables SystemCeram to produce high-grade individualised end-products. Within the maximum dimension of 2000x990mm, all kinds of dimensions, cut-outs, raised levels etc. are possible.
The KeraLab laboratory ceramics meet the highest international performance standards and rules.
